What I thought the monster in "Monster" looked like
This is an image that made the rounds on the net at the end of last year (probably fake, but I've never seen any evidence to the contrary). Many of you have probably seen it, but I thought I'd share it in this context (link to an article about it in the title). This is almost exactly what I imagined the monster in Monster looks like. Thoughts?

ALSO today when it was broad daylight and I felt braver I followed the link to the story about it. Last night actually as I was trying to go to bed I kept imagining it crashing through my window and eating me or something, but in the end I reasoned myself out of it--I was like, "Well, probably it's in some dark woods in a mountain or something, and it's not like I'm going camping anytime soon--so I should be good." And then I actually read the article this afternoon and I was like OHCRAPITSINLOUISIANA.

I apologize for the lack of disclaimer. My bad, really. The thing probably isn't real (photoshop and whatnot), but it never hurts to prepare for what MIGHT be real. Meg, I recommend not visiting any swamps in the dead of night with and startling anything. It probably goes without saying, but, you know, disclaimers and all.
And Jennifer, I am honored to know that I was on the Christmas list at some point (you know, before I went about posting creepy pictures online). As for how I found this: a friend of mine (who really would love to hunt it, Matt) showed this to me at the end of last year.
I am not particularly impressed with the level of scariness. It reminds me a little of the zombie/vampires from I AM LEGEND.
